The Guidance Department focuses on the total four-year high school progression of every student.  This includes assisting students with the adjustment into high school in the ninth grade and counseling students throughout the four years to achieve the scholastic requirements for college admission and career opportunities.  The counseling staff meets with students in groups, classrooms, and individual sessions with concerns of academic and personal progress and concentrates during the junior and senior years on college selection and application processes.  The counselors make themselves available for parent-teacher conference when necessary.
